Instructions for authors

Veterinary Research is an open access journal that publishes high quality and novel research and review articles focusing on all aspects of infectious diseases and host-pathogen interaction in animals.

Each article type published by Veterinary Research follows a specific format, as detailed in the corresponding instructions for authors; please choose an article type from the list on the left to view the instructions for authors.

Presubmission enquiries

If you wish to make a presubmission enquiry about the suitability of your manuscript, please email the editors who will respond to your enquiry as soon as possible.

Only the complete manuscript will be examined at the presubmission step, since sometimes just the title and abstract do not reflect in depth the content of the manuscript. Of course, even if a positive reply is given for the suitability of a manuscript, there is no guarantee for a final acceptance at the end of the evaluation process.
